MONIQUE STEELE

Monique Steele of Steele Consulting Group

So why start SCG?

Going into work is like preparing for a fight every single day. I don’t feel appreciated, it’s like my career is headed nowhere. I really would like to pursue (fill in the blank) but I don’t feel I have the time. If only I had the time to work on the things I love. What are the things I love? Do these statements sound familiar? Have you asked yourselves these questions lately? If so, you know exactly why I started SCG. I may have said, one, two, or several of these statements during my career.

It’s my personal mission to help eliminate these feelings and develop a path towards getting the best out of our career journey. If you have read any self-help books in the past 20 years there is always the theme of do you what you love and you will never work a day in your life message…I call BS on that! Do you what you love and you will be working at it every day of your life. Have you ever heard someone say( I am pretty sure that someone is Oprah!) if you examine your life you will uncover what you are passionate about… doesn’t matter the platform. I found myself in every job I have ever held always coaching, always looking to help others reach their best and highest self.

SCG looking for efifciencies ux-indonesia-

Always looking for efficiencies, the best strategy, and the best approach. It’s ingrained in me to see people, organizations, the world this way.  I started this company because I was stressed, undervalued, frustrated, and work-life for me sucked. I worked in organizations where the strategy and the values were in direct opposition and eaten up by the culture. I did the work. I studied, read, practiced, and developed methods and systems to change my experiences. Work I will continually do!
